WizKid

Wizkid has always been a talented artist, so it would be wrong to attribute his success to luck. It is clear that he puts in a lot of hard work and time into building his career. Wizkid had few role models he looked up to, including icons like 2face, D’Banj, Fela Kuti, etc, and he went about chasing his dreams of stardom with tenacity. Before his break into the limelight, he worked played shows all over.

Ayo started his music career in BankyW’s first record label, Empire States of Mind (EME), before he moved to his very own label, “Star Boy Entertainment”. He has also enjoyed the support of his family, most especially his mom who strongly believed in him, but also his friends. These include BankyW, who taught him almost all he knows about the music industry today, as well as Skales.

StarBoy Artistes

Today, Star Boy Entertainment has artistes like LAX , Legendary Beats, and Malek Berry signed on. These artistes helped in pushing up the label to one of the top record labels in Africa.
